Living in the Big City

Taking the tram to work this morning, there was an announcement that the tram would divert, and travel through the city on La Trobe St.  This due to an ‘incident’ on the corner of Flinders and King.  I thought it must have been a traffic accident.  No, it was a shooting.  I have to admit the gangland slayings add a certain frisson to living here.
